The Small Ruru Vase Series was inspired by the morepork owls at our bach. Its twisting hexagonal shape and subtle texture was formed in 3D using math patterns found in nature. It is available in various glazed colours

About the Artist
Chris Keenan
In New Zealand Chris applied his 3D knowledge to animation, filmmaking and 3D modelling. A major client was the Department of Conservation which presented Chris with a conservation achievement award for his work recreating history in 3D.
Chris Keenan uses experimental clay 3D printing technology to create original ceramic art. Inspired by the math patterns found in nature, he merges powerful digital tools with ancient hand finishing techniques.
