will be hosting Artist Talks on the “First Thursday” of each month (excluding January).   This is the second talk in the series.  

Matt’s work will be an available to view until 8pm after the event and exhibiting until 16th December in the gallery.  

Single Attendee - $12 Entry & glass of wine

Matt is a New Zealand-based realism artist whose work bridges the fine line between lifelike detail and soulful expression. From his Auckland studio, he brings people and animals to life on canvas, capturing not just their forms but their stories.

Each brushstroke reveals subtle textures and glimmers of light, drawing viewers into a quiet, intimate world within the frame. Known for his skillful technique and his eye for depth, Matt’s work invites a lingering gaze, where the familiar transforms into the profound, creating a visual dialogue that resonates long after the first impression.
