Jane Shriffer is an abstract artist living and working in Wanaka, who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Dunedin School of Art in 2006.
Jane paints with a deep sense of intuition, allowing a natural flow of response and presence to guide very creation. Each canvas unfolds in layers of color and texture, with the distinct marks of a singular palette knife clearly visible.
Every movement is deliberate, building a rhythmic surface that feels alive with motion, expressed through rich, vibrant hues and thick oil paint.
