I work with oil paint and cold wax medium, using locally-sourced beeswax.
The qualities of the wax medium attract me with their translucence and ability to work with paint in a non-conventional way. On my daily walks I study weeds, puddles, vines and foliage for inspiration for my abstract work, taking information out of this world that informs another possible world.
My home studio is where I live in Devonport, and my work is held in collections throughout New Zealand and internationally.
I recently attained my Masters in Fine Art from Elam, University of Auckland, having completed my Bachelors in Fine Art in 2015.
