Liz Turnbull
Liz is fascinated with light, water and how our landscape’s mood can be changed by light alone. She creates evocative and contemporary paintings venturing into the natural world and continues a little beyond it, into abstraction and impressionism.
Liz Turnbull lives in coastal Bay of Plenty and has had more than 20 shows with her work being exhibited widely in New Zealand, Australia and Hong Kong with paintings travelling globally, the furthest being Jersey, the Channel Islands.

Liz remains passionate about rediscovering and depicting our natural landscape but with a nod to those places we see only in our minds. Her paintings are atmospheric and often moody, yet calming and tranquil, too. They carry the memories and emotions held close to the heart.
